Promoting JusticeHolly’s House promotes justice through our process for interviewing victims of intimate crimes. Holly’s House provides a comforting and confidential environment for victims to report the crime. These conversations are recorded to ensure the investigative team has an accurate account of the victim’s statement. The Victim Advocacy model prioritizes providing a welcoming, safe environment for the victims and collaboration with other agencies in order to minimize further emotional trauma. |
Forensic Interviews
Forensic interviewing is a core part of our ability to promote justice. The forensic interview is the process which helps a victim or witness to report the details of the crime. These interviews are conducted by a trained professional whose role is to help the victim talk about the crime in order to gather necessary details for further an investigation. Please note: Holly's House only assists with interviews when law enforcement or the Department of Child Services has determined that an interviewed is needed.
